I know I already raved about the free application Google offers in an earlier blog- Google Calendar, (as my dad says every time we bring something like this up- if only we had thought of this) but as of a couple of days ago I have an even greater appreciation for it!
After reading the previously mentioned blog, you will know I have a Blackberry Curve that I am in love with- much to the disappointment of my husband. Now, a week after writing about my love, I have the best of both worlds- Google Calendar and my Blackberry… synced! I know many of you might think that is quite archaic of me- just now getting that together. But, for those of you who own or work in a small business, and have not joined forces with Google and Blackberry you must consider doing so. Being in a SOHO business you know that managing schedules is hard and that keeping the largest percentage of what you make in the company is a priority. Many of my clients are in your same shoes and that is why I recommend using this free service to them. There are many options in terms of CRMs in the marketplace, which might work much better for your company’s needs. But, at this point Google is working great for me.
Now with my new Google+Blackberry relationship I am able to see when my mother schedules us meetings in real time and will know right away if we have conflicting appointments. I can also subscribe to other calendars that I might find useful, like the weather. Ahhh…. SOHO Zen!
