Projects, Projects, Projects

Yesterday marked the first real day of Spring here in the Northwest. While I got most of my yard work done, washed the car, and in general caught up in some house cleaning, there are a few home projects that I need to get out of my way. One of the challenges of working from home is having home renovation on top of mind at all times.

1. Wall Paper in down stairs bathroom
An eye sore since move in last September. The downstairs bathroom is small making this wall paper accentuate the claustrophobic feeling one feels when entering this space. While this space also offers the visitor the appeal of the gold sink and fixtures, and a crazy green tiling, the quickest fix is still this crazy wallpaper. Note that I taped the article my mother-in-law gave me on how to effectively remove wallpaper- exicted to put it to use!

2. Stair Posts
Family cat, Buster Bluth, has taken the stair railing posts as his personal scratch posts as of late. These were unfinished when we moved in, so I can understand his urge; ugly and unfinished I’m sure he felt it was his duty to scratch them up. Either way, one of my three priority projects is to sand and finish the stair rails.

3. Raised Garden
Perfect space for gardening… do I know how to garden?- No. One of my front of mind projects is to learn how to garden this month.

To all home office women- happy goings on sun and warm weather projects! Hoping that accomplishing your goals aids in your career focus-
