Book The most relevant book for getting into 2010 for women whether they are building a company, volunteering in their community, or going after a new job. As we’ve seen in the past few years, creating a personal brand is becoming increasingly important in attracting your ideal client. Stating exactly what it is that you want to be known for so that others don’t create their own versions first. This book walks you through the process of defining your brand and then promoting it to your target market. - Ali Magazine | http://www.thealimagazine.com/
Print Magazine A magazine about “your biz, your style, your life.” While it is more fluff than real powerful statements, I love the colorful pages, inspirational stories, and the juxtaposition of growing your numbers with purses that will work for day and night. Ali Brown realizes that the woman running a business today is doing so while wearing many hats: mother, wife, friend, daughter, etc. Working out of your home provides women with an incredible amount of freedom that we are now given the opportunity to really have it all: business, family, friends, hobbies, activities, and personal time. This magazine helps connect the dots in a way that is healthy and celebrates this oportunity. - Hostess with the Mostess | http://www.hostesswiththemostess.com
Blog I love this blog! Love it! The reason I put this on my list of home office resources that were my favorite in 2009 was that it is all about the details in entertaining and I think so much of that applies to business. Knowing your audience and making them comfortable outside of their safe environment. Apart from the parallels that I see in being a hostess and providing products or services to your clientele, this blog inspires me in terms of decorating my home and home office, entertaining friends and family, and in just thinking outside the box in everything I do or create.
