My name is Jennifer Donogh, and I write the SOHO Wife blog. I got married my junior year of college and began working out of my home right after graduating for Ovaleye Web Solutions, our family business. We have a small office, but most of my work is done from my home or commuting to meet my clients in their home office.

SOHO businesses or, small businesses operating out of a small office/home office with 20 employees or fewer are popping up all over the states. There are 40 million, and growing, companies that fall under this category, making them an integral piece of the American economy. The home office trend is made possible  by technology along with the need for flexibility and second incomes for the modern family. The Internet, among other advances, has allowed entrepreneurs the ability to create a startup with little to no capital or risk.

I started SOHO Wife to help other women develop and sustain a healthy SOHO lifestyle while encouraging business and personal success.
